Itty bitty, teeny weeny, small, petite, little, baby steps

That's what it feels like. My mom is making progress and it feels so painfully slow. The air tube has made her so sore she still can't talk. She wants to and she tries but you still can only understand a word or two. They still haven't been able to take the neck brace off because my mom can't tell them where it does and doesn't hurt. They did get her sat up tonight for a few hours, and while she didn't get a chance to pass the swallow test she is able to do the things they would ask her to do when my Dad or I ask her. She is able to nod yes or no questions and she is slowly coming out of it. We just have to keep waiting....and patience is not a strong virtue for our family. Thanks for all the support. Keep thinkin' about us. We love you for it.

Just small steps are better than no steps toward improvement. I am so excited to hear she IS making progress. Keep it up Donna Reber, you can do it. We'll keep up the prayers and you do the work. Love ya

WE are so happy to see baby steps are happening! Just remember the movie, What about Bob! He was afraid to come out of the house, but soon he had his fish bowl, and took a ride, and you all know the rest of the story! Tell that story to Donna, and tell her I said to get her fish bowl around her neck, and take the road to recovery! Love you guys!
